Are there extended unemployment compensation benefits available?

Yes, Pandemic Emergency Unemployment Compensation (PEUC) Program is a new temporary federal program that provides up to 13 additional weeks of benefits to individuals who have exhausted their regular unemployment claim or whose benefit year has expired and does not qualify for a new regular unemployment claim.

If you are currently unemployed and have exhausted a claim with a current benefit year in effect or if you have a benefit year that has expired after July 1, 2019, you may file your PEUC claim by accessing uinteract.labor.mo.gov. Click on Unemployment Claim -> File PEUC.
